  • When do I need to RSVP
ASAP! But no later than May 21st, 2023. Please let us know as soon as you can, we understand things come up so just let us know if that is the case and we will make the adjustment and keep you with us in spirit!
  • Can I take pictures?
We are having an UNPLUGGED ceremony, that means phones, ipads, cameras other than the professionals we hired are not permitted during the ceremony. Simply sit back and enjoy the experience, we want our memories of your smiling faces not of devices! Pre-ceremony and post ceremony you may take as many photos as you'd like! Also if you see a photographer or videographer please be mindful and let them get their shot or smile if you know they are aiming at you!
  • Is there an open bar!
    Yes, so let's party!
  • Is there parking on site?
    Yes!
  • What will the weather be like?
Late August in Connecticut is still warm however sometimes the evenings can bring in a light chill. You can expect Upper 70's in the day and 65 as a low should it drop at night.
  • Are kids invited?
We love your kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off! However, we know many of you will be traveling and so if you are unable to find a sitter just let us know so we can have a special kids meal for them! Our children will be present and we plan to have babysitters and a "kid zone" for the children to retreat to.
  • Can I bring a date?
Since this is a very intimate event with our closest family and friends only those listed on the invitation will be able to join us at this time.
  • What is the rain plan?
If weather permits we will have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors however should it rain we will simply move the event inside the mansion!
  • What is our Covid policy?
TBD. We want to keep all of you—our loved ones—safe so we'll make a call on this as the big day draws closer. We ask to take a at home test prior to traveling and we will also have test on hand should anyone feel symptoms coming on.
  • When should I arrive in Middletown?
This is completly up to you! We know you are already taking time our of your lives to come celebrate with us and so we want you to do what works for you! We are suggesting those traveling by plane to arrive on Saturday so that you can rest up. We will be hosting an event on Sunday to greet those who are in town but the event is not mandatory, just include your response in your RSVP!
  • Can I see you outside of the wedding?
Of course! We love quality time, it's why we are choosing to have such a small wedding! If you would like me to set something up like a little activity, a brunch, lunch, or coffee date just let me know! Saturday afternoon/evening, Sunday morning, Tuesday are all options for a little QT.
